If you know anything about Big Ten basketball, you know that Michigan State’s 49-47 win over Wisconsin at the Kohl Center in Madison Tuesday was huge.  Tom Izzo knows a little bit about the rivalry – check out his reaction below (skip to 0:37 to go inside the locker room). Not only did it keep the Spartans atop the Big Ten standings with a 6-1 conference record, but it marked just the second time in the last 15 meetings that the visiting team has won (MSU also won in Madison last year). Junior guard Keith Appling and sophomore forward Branden Dawson scored 76% of the team’s points, with 19 and 18 respectively.  Dawson also grabbed 13 boards.  State gets #7 Indiana on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. EST in Bloomington.
