Found September 28, 2012 on The Cardinal Connect:
According to multiple sources, Louisville guard Mike Marra suffered a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the season. Today was the first day Mike had returned to practice after suffering a torn ACL in Louisville’s second game of the season in 2011-12. Rick Pitino called Terry Meiners of 84-WHAS to confirm the news shorltly before 6 PM on Friday afternoon. Marra’s career as a Cardinal is likely over. This is terrible news for Mike. He’s a great kid who has been dealt some terrible luck in his time at Louisville. From what I’m hearing the team and the staff is taking this news very hard. I’m speechless at this point. The injuries for this team over the past two years have been unbelievable.

Dalyn Dawkins, a 4-star running back at Trinity High School here in Louisville has a very solid Cardinal Connection (see what I did there?). The 5-foot-10 180-pound prospect is the son of former Louisville running back Ralph Dawkins, who played for the Cards from 1990-1993. Dalyn is just one of four elite level recruits at Trinity High School this season. However, Dalyn is the only...
