The Missouri Tigers basketball team was not able to celebrate its first-ever victory in SEC conference play for very long on Tuesday night. Not with the uncertainty surrounding leading scorer Laurence Bowers knee injury. On Wednesday, more information was revealed regarding Bowers' status and the senior power forward will miss at least two games with a sprained MCL. Losing Bowers is terrible news for the Tigers, but the news could have been a lot worst. But it does make one think whether Mizzou could survive without Bowers for an extended period of time? Mizzou fans will find out quickly as the Tigers travel to Oxford, Mississippi to take on a very good Ole Miss team.  The Rebels are 12-2 on the season and post some challenges for the Tigers, even if Bowers were going to be on the floor.
