Larry Brown Sports:
Montrezl Harris punctuated Louisville’s amazing comeback at the end of the first half of the national championship game Monday with a thunderous dunk. The freshman forward took a pass and hammered it down with crazy authority to give Louisville its first and only lead through the first 20 minutes. Glenn Robinson III made two free throws to give Michigan the lead back before the break, but Harrell’s jam had to be a confidence booster for the Cardinals.

Tweet Louisville Cardinals freshman Montrezl Harrell came off the bench and made the only shot he attempted in the first half of Monday’s NCAA men’s basketball national championship game versus Michigan. And an impressive one it was indeed. Real-time highlight: @uoflsports takes its first lead of the night on a huge alley-oop dunk! [...]
Louisville's Peyton Siva and Montrezl Harrell capped off a wild first half at the NCAA title game with one of the biggest alley-oop dunks we have ever seen.
Despite Michigan’s early double digit lead, we all knew Louisville would eventually make a run (that’s what the Cardinals do). Just before halftime, the U of L went on a 16-5 spurt, punctuated by this alley oop from Peyton Siva to Montrezl Harrell.
Michigan leads by one at the half, 38-37.
It still doesn’t seem real. The Louisville Cardinals are your 2013 National Champions. I don’t think it’s hit me just yet. More than 24-hours later, I’m still not sure exactly what to do now. I’m not ready to start talking about next season just yet, so let’s relive Monday night’s game in Gif form.
Trez & Chane hug it out. That’s a championship bromance right...
