With Indiana losing to Illinois earlier in the week, Michigan might have had a shot at the No. 1 ranking with a win over Wisconsin on Saturday.

But the Badgers had other plans.

After Tim Hardaway Jr. hit a tie-breaking 3-pointer with 3 seconds left in regulation, Ben Brust nailed a running halfcourt buzzer beater to send the game into overtime. Wisconsin went on to beat the Wolverines 65-62 in the extra session. Check out the shots below.

Half court buzzer beater by Wisconsin's Ben Brust

Michigan fans have got to hate seeing the ball in the hands of a Wisconsin sharp-shooter with the game on the line in the waning seconds of the game. Why?
