Purdue is the prohibitive favorite here and for good reason. The Boilermakers are elite on both sides of the ball, boasting the No. 2 offense in the country and No. 16 defense in the land on the backs of center Zach Edey, who has won the Naismith Player of the Year two seasons in a row.

The Boilermakers won a testy game against Tennessee on Sunday afternoon to book their ticket to Arizona.

Meanwhile, NC State was out of this tournament two weeks ago before ripping off nine straight wins en route to this point. It was so dire that head coach Kevin Keatts was likely on his way out — if not for his win in the ACC Tournament, which triggered an extension clause that has him staying put in Raleigh for at least two more seasons.

It might be longer now. And it has to be sweet that they took down in-state and conference rival Duke to get to this point.

NC State make their first Final Four since the Jim Valvano days but possess incredibly long odds to win it all. The Wolfpack have the worst odds in the market at +2000 to win it all.
