Nebraska Gets Big Ten Road Win at Indiana
Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

Finally, a conference road win for Nebraska men's basketball.

NU (19-8, 9-7 Big Ten) ran away from Indiana (14-12, 6-9 Big Ten) 85-70 in Bloomington on Wednesday evening. The Big Ten road victory is the first of the year for Nebraska.

The Huskers came out on fire, turning a 7-2 start into a 51-31 lead at halftime. Out of the break, NU scored immediately to stretch the lead to 22 points.

But Indiana didn't fold. The Hoosiers used a 22-6 run to close the gap to just three points.

Jamarques Lawrence, Juwan Gary and Josiah Allick combined for a 7-0 run at the start of a more than six-minute stretch where the Hoosiers did not make a shot.

Nebraska kept the difference in double digits, capped off by a Lawrence triple with 23 seconds to go.

NU shot 49% for the game, including 14-of-33 from 3. Indian made 43% of its shots, going 4-of-21 from deep.

Four Huskers scored at least 15 points, led by 20 points from Keisei Tominaga. Lawrence added 19 off the bench, while Brice Williams and Gary chipped in 18 and 15, respectively.

Nebraska returns home Sunday to host Minnesota.
