Nebraska Routs Indiana in Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament Quarterfinals
Matt Krohn-USA TODAY Sports

It was an absolute no-doubter to begin the Big Ten Conference Tournament for Nebrasketball Friday night.

The No. 3 seed Huskers (23-9) dismantled the No. 6 seed Indiana (19-14) 93-66 in Minneapolis. The win snaps a five-game losing streak in the conference tournament for NU.

Brice Williams got the party started, scoring 14 of Nebraska's first 22 points as the Huskers grabbed an early lead that would never be relinquished. Williams finished with 23 points.

Then Keisei Tominaga took over with multiple ridiculous shots, including a step-back triple just before halftime to put NU up 50-27. Tominaga also finished the game with 23 points.

Nebraska shot 50% for the game, including 14-of-32 on 3s. A dozen of those made triples came in the first half.

Indiana managed to shoot 35%, making just 5-of-20 3s.

Into the conference tournament semifinals for the first time as a member of the Big Ten, Nebraska takes on the No. 2 seed Illinois at approximately 2:30 p.m. CDT Saturday.
