In the NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament on Sunday, there were two No. 10 seeds to pull of stunners against No. 2 seeds in the round of 32 with Creighton and South Dakota. On the men's side, Miami accomplished the feat as well, dropping heavily-favored Auburn, 79-61.

The No. 10 seed Hurricanes will take on No. 11 Iowa State in the Sweet 16. The 11th-seeded Cyclones upset No. 3 Wisconsin 54-49 on Sunday.
In the victory against the Tigers, Miami was led by Isaiah Wong, who scored a game-high 21 points and contributed six rebounds, while Kameron McGusty went for 20 points and recorded six rebounds, four assists and four steals. In the loss, expected NBA lottery pick Jabari Smith posted a double-double of 10 points and 15 rebounds and added four assists and three blocks, but struggled mightily from the field, shooting 3-for-16, including 1-for-8 from beyond the three-point arc.
Miami signed head coach Jim Larrañaga to a two-year contract extension earlier this month.
