Oral Roberts’ Max Abmas Enters Transfer Portal
Russell Lansford-USA TODAY Sports

The NCAA Mens Basketball Transfer Portal continues to be active and grow. One of the biggest names to enter his name is Max Abmas from Oral Roberts University, as reported by ESPN’s Jeff Borzell. Abmas is a proven scorer, though not from one of the larger universities

The NCAA season came to an end Monday with Connecticut winning the national championship, beating San Diego State. If there is one thing that we learned from this year’s season and tournament it is that no matter the name on the jersey, every team can get better through the transfer portal. Abmas will be a great asset to any program that can land him. He is a proven scorer at the collegiate level and will bring a veteran presence.

A few early names that others are predicting for fit for Abmas are North Carolina, Texas, Baylor, Wichita State, and Kansas State.

For his career at Oral Roberts, Abmas averaged 20.8 points, 3.2 assists, 1.1 steals, and 3.3 rebounds per game. He shot 43.7% from the field, 38.8% from three, and 88.1% from the free throw line.
