Former Louisville point guard Peyton Siva is one of 70 NBA hopefuls that were invited to the 2013 NBA Draft Combine in Chicago, IL., on May 16th and 17th. Getting invited to the combine doesn’t mean much of anything, but this will certainly give the Seattle native and opportunity to improve his draft stock.
Since the season ended he’s been in Las Vegas training for the draft at the Impact Basketball Academy. Despite winning a national championship and going to back-to-back Final Fours, along with being only the second player to ever win the Big East Tournament MVP more than once, Siva’s draft stock isn’t very high.
ESPN’s Chad Ford lists Siva as the 15th best point guard in the draft. I’m probably a little biased, but it’s hard for me to believe that some of the guys that Ford has listed ahead of Siva are really better NBA prospects.
Ford’s Top 15 PG’s
1.)Trey Burke, Michigan
2.)Michael Carter-Williams, Syracuse
3.)Shane Larkin, Miami
4.)Dennis Shroeder, Germany

Rick Pitino landed this 80-pound white marlin during a fishing trip in the Bahamas. The guy just can't lose right now.
Rick Pitino is just a month removed from winning his first national championship as the Louisville Cardinals head coach and he seems to still be on a hot streak. During his first time marlin fishing with his friends in the Bahamas, he managed to catch an 80-pound marlin. Seems like Rick Pitino and his buddies are just natural born fishermen.

Yeah, it’s safe to say that it’s a pretty good deal being Rick Pitino. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that it hasn’t been that way for a long time, but fresh off leading the Louisville Cardinals to national championship, the basketball coach apparently hooked and lugged in a monster 80-pound white marlin during a recent fishing expedition in the Bahamas. It’s a good gig...
One of the top targets for Rick Pitino’s 2014 recruiting class is 6-foot-10, 245-pound forward Trey Lyles.
Pitino had an in home visit the Lyles in late April following Louisville’s national championship. According to Lyles, the visit went great.
At this time, it doesn’t seem like the Indianapolis native has any favorites, but Louisville is definitely in the mix.
The Louisville football program picked up their thirteenth and fourteenth verbal commitments from the 2014 class over the weekend. Charlie Strong received a verbal commitment from three-star wide receiver George Rushing Friday night. Isaiah Ford, also a three-star receiver, made his verbal pledge to Louisville on Saturday afternoon. Rushing, a 6-foot, 180-pound Fort Lauderdale, FL...

Peyton Siva, Sr. was among the 3,350 fans attending the University of Louisville vs. Indiana baseball game Wednesday at Jim Patterson Stadium. He and Junior have another major event coming up Saturday at the KFC Yum! Center where the former UofL point guard will be participating in commencement ceremonies, finally getting that degree. The crowd was the third largest in UofL baseball...
The only thing not to be overly excited about for this year’s Louisville football team is their schedule. On the brink of what could possibly be the best season in the program’s history, Charlie Strong’s squad isn’t expected to have much competition.
I personally think that the schedule isn’t exactly as bad as some make it out to be, but the bottom line is, if you want...
