ATLANTA -- The Miami Hurricanes and their fans surely thought they deserved 1-seed recognition. After all, Miami became the first team in history to win the ACC regular season and tournament titles and not be handed top-seed honors.
As a reward, Jim Larranaga's bunch gets Indiana, a team that reached the top of the national polls multiple times this season. However, in a regional that could open up nicely for the experienced Hurricanes--Marquette (3), Syracuse (4), UNLV (5) and Butler (6) are not exactly daunting tasks--Larranaga has to like his odds to make another Final Four run like he did in 2006.
But the Hoosiers are a 1-seed for a reason, as Victor Oladipo and Cody Zeller head a bunch plenty talented enough to cut down the nets. So, in a relatively soft region, who comes out on top?
