The senior guard came out firing on all four cylinders last night and scored a career-high 34 points as Ohio State defeated Wisconsin 72-58. She was 12 of 18 from the field, 4 of 5 from 3 point land, made all six of her free throws, had five assists, two rebounds, and four steals. Junior guard Tayler Hill added 18 points for the Buckeyes. After a big half from Prahalis, the Buckeyes took a 35-25 lead into the locker room at halftime. Big Buford: Buckeyes Top Boilers In A Fast-Paced Thriller

William Buford is one of the most maddening players that I’ve ever had on the teams that I closely follow. In some of the biggest games of his career, he has failed to rise to the occasion with some hideous shooting performances. Overshadowed by other guards and forwards throughout most of his career, the lone senior on the team is often unfairly the scapegoat for some of the...

With two starters on the bench and the score tied late in Tuesday night's game with Purdue, No. 3 Ohio State needed its most experienced player to take control. And that's what William Buford did.
