Isaiah Canaan scored 21 points and Jewuan Long added a season-high 17 to keep No. 12 Murray State the only unbeaten team in Division I with an 82-65 win over Southern Illinois-Edwardsville on Saturday. The Racers (20-0, 8-0 Ohio Valley Conference) got their ninth road win of the season. The nation's other unbeaten team, No. 1 Syracuse, lost at Notre Dame 67-58 earlier in the day. Donte Poole added 14 points and Latreze Mushatt had seven points and eight rebounds for the Racers, who led 49-35 at half. Ed Daniel chipped in with 10 points and seven rebounds. Mark Yelovich paced Southern Illinois Edwardsville (5-12, 3-5) with 17 points. Kris Davis added 15 points and Derian Shaffer had 12 points.
