It’s been a very busy week for Louisville head coach Rick Pitino. Within a 48-hour period, Pitino will have had in home visits with two of the top ten players in the 2014 class, both of which are from the Hoosier State. Pitino is expected to visit with 5-star combo guard Jaquan Lyle of Evansville tonight. Last night Pitino was in Indianapolis to see 5-star forward Trey Lyles. Scout.com ranks Lyles as the number one power forward in the 2014 class. Following the visit, Lyles Tweeted that it “went great, absolutely great.” The 6-foot-10 235-pound power forward is regarded as one of the more versatile players in the country. He plays the 2, 3, 4 and 5 positions for his high school team. In his junior season Lyles averaged 22 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists for Arsenal Tech. Lyles has taken two unofficial visits to Louisville over the past year.
