The Saint Louis Billikens basketball team has suffered through a topsy-turvy ride thus far this season.  The Bills started the season rough by dropping three of the team's first six games. SLU's star player, point guard Kwamain Mitchell, missed the first 11 games of the season with a fracture in his foot. Then, the Billikens lost their former leader, Rick Majerus, who died from heart disease. It was a chilling blow to a program that was rebuilt from the ground by Majerus. Things are looking better at SLU these days.  The grieving of Majerus has subsided.  Mitchell is back in the lineup and has three games under his belt.  Finally, the Bills are on an eight game winning streak as they head into Thursday night's game against Atlantic 10 foe UMass. One of those eight wins was over a highly ranked and respected New Mexico team. It was the type of win that propels a good team on a nice run of victories.
