Rutgers softball defeated Dayton 8-0 in five innings on day two of the CenturyLink Classic at Bobcat Field on the campus of Texas State. The Scarlet Knights concluded the two and a half innings left in game one against Texas State, eventually falling 11-6 to the host Bobcats.
