Stanford ends losing skid against Cal in potential final home game for Jerod Haase

The losing streak had extended to six, Jared Bynum who is not with the team at the moment had been calling out the coach, and former players like Casey Jacobsen and Josh Childress told Jon Wilner in a recent report it's time to move on from Haase.

Despite all of the noise, Stanford was able to win their final game of the regular season against Cal, winning by a score of 80-58. Led by Maxime Raynaud who came off the bench on Thursday to make way for senior James Keefe to start, the Stanford bench trio of Raynaud, Kanaan Carlyle, and Andrej Stojakovic combined for 42 points.

For the first time in six games, the Cardinal shot better than 30% from deep, going 12-of-24 from three.

The win, while it sends the seniors out on a high note for what is their final home game as a Cardinal, didn't do anything for Stanford in the standings. They remained squarely in the No. 10 seed ahead of the Pac-12 Tournament, while their record moved to 13-17 on the year.

The only way for them to make the NCAA Tournament and end their decade-long drought is if they win the Pac-12 tournament, which would require stringing together four wins. A mark that they haven't come close to all year, with two wins in a row being their season high.
