Antonio Bostic scored 15 points and Stephen F. Austin held Southeastern Louisiana to 13 second-half points Saturday en route to a 63-36 victory.
The Lumberjacks (8-7, 2-0 Southland) won their third straight game by limiting the Lions to 3 for 16 shooting in the second half. The 36 points were the fewest scored for Southeastern Louisiana since a 40-35 loss to Houston Baptist on Feb. 7, 1983.
Desmond Haymon added 11 points for Stephen F. Austin, which shot 54 percent from the field and scored 25 points off 23 Lions turnovers.
Roosevelt Johnson led Southeastern Louisiana (5-8, 0-2) with eight points.
The Lions, who lost their fifth straight and are 0-8 on the road this season, were within 26-25 early in the second half. But Darius Gardner and Haymon hit back-to-back 3-pointers to start and 8-0 run for Stephen F. Austin, and the Lumberjacks outscored Southeastern Louisiana 37-11 the rest of the way.
