ROSEMONT, IL - JANUARY 30: Head coach Jim Boeheim of the Syracuse Orange watches as his team takes on the DePaul Blue Demons at the Allstate Arena on January 30, 2010 in Rosemont, Illinois. Syracuse defeated DePaul 59-57. (Photo by Jonathan Daniel/Getty Images)
Coach Jim Boeheim is a legend at Syracuse University. With 948 career wins, four Final Four appearances and a national title under his belt, the coach has rightfully etched his name among the all-time greats in college basketball. Syracuse fans have revered Boeheim for his consistent excellence and ability to groom players into NBA superstars. But Orange fan Rich Miner took his love for the long-time head coach to a new level recently. Just talked to Boeheim about crazy fan who got THIS tattoo on his leg. "I would wear long pants for rest of my life." http://t.co/LnNE7YRBzQ— Jeff Goodman (@GoodmanESPN) July 18, 2014 There have been some crazy sports tattoos in recent years, and this one is definitely at the top of that list. Boeheim’s face is pretty accurate, but the coach apparently did not love the tribute. Miner had a feeling that Boeheim would not enjoy the tattoo. “I’d like to meet up with Jim Boeheim and show him,” Miner said, via Syracuse.com. “Maybe he’d say it was a horrible picture. Typical Boeheim.” Creepy or not, you have to give some props to Miner for his devotion to Syracuse basketball.Filed under: Andrew Battifarano, College Basketball, NESN University, Syracuse, Top Stories
