Wisconsin Badgers guard Jordan Taylor added another honor to list of accomplishments, and the regular season hasn't even begun. After being named a preseason All-American by the Associated Press, Taylor was added to the Naismith Trophy watch list by the Atlanta Tipoff Club this week. Each year, the Naismith Trophy is awarded to college basketball's best player, as voted upon by the Atlanta Tipoff Club. This year's award winner will be announced during the Final Four in New Orleans. Taylor is one of seven Big Ten players on the 2011-12 Naismith preseason list, including Aaron Craft, William Buford and Jared Sullinger of Ohio State, Draymond Green of Michigan State, Tim Hardaway Jr. of Michigan and Robbie Hummel of Purdue. Wisconsin has now had four players included on the Naismith preseason list over the last six seasons: Kammron Taylor and Alando Tucker in 2007, Jon Leuer in 2010 and Taylor this season. Between conference realignments, rule changes and an incredible amount of talent at the college level this year, the 2012 Naismith Player of the Year is truly anybodys for the taking, said Eric Oberman, Atlanta Tipoff Club executive director. Were excited to be a part of such an historic year in college basketball and look forward to crowning the best player in college basketball in April. Last season, BYU guard Jimmer Fredette took home the Naismith Trophy.

Now I fully admit I think this same thing pretty much every year and pretty much every year they prove me wrong, but I'm just not seeing this year. Obviously everything about the Badgers this year begins and ends with Jordan Taylor, who is not doubt a supreme talent and had a statistically...

Badgers, Golden Eagles men add size

The 2012 recruiting class for Wisconsin's men's basketball program is small in numbers. But the Badgers are hoping that their lone scholarship commitment can make a big impact when he officially arrives on campus. Sam Dekker, a 6-foot-7 forward from Sheboygan Lutheran High School, represents Wisconsin's only oral commitment for the class of 2012. Recruits' first...
