Tennessee Vols among top 3 programs for transfer forward

The Tennessee Vols made a splash in the transfer portal earlier this week by landing Hofstra transfer wing Darlinstone Dubar and they could soon be making another splash addition.

According to CBS Sports college basketball insider Jon Rothstein, the Vols are among the top three schools for Charlotte transfer forward Igor Milicic Jr.

Nebraska and Baylor are the other two programs that Milicic is considering.

Milicic, who is 6-foot-10, averaged 12.8 points per game, 8.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.1 blocks for Charlotte last season. He also led the 49ers in made three-pointers last season with 56.

The native of Croatia could help fill the void left behind by Jonas Aidoo and Tobe Awaka (who could still possibly return to the Vols) while also giving Tennessee another threat from beyond the arc.
