Reid Koenen had 24 points, six rebounds and three steals to lead Texas State past Seattle 86-83 on Saturday night. Texas State (7-14, 3-6 WAC) shot 44.1 percent from the field, making 30 of 68 from the field including a 10 of 25 mark from beyond the arc. The Bobcats were 16 of 23 from the free-throw line compared to Seattle, which was only 1 of 5. Three other players scored in double figures for Texas State with Joel Wright scoring 19 points to go along with his nine rebounds and three steals. Phil Hawkins had 13 points and six assists while Corey Stern had 10 points and 11 rebounds. Clarence Trent led all Seattle (6-13, 1-8) scorers with 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Deshaun Sunderhaus had 17 points and 12 rebounds, Chad Rasmussen had 11 and Louis Green chipped in with 10. Seattle had 25 assists as a team and out-rebounded the Bobcats 47-39.
