#18..MIKE RICHARDS!!! woooooo What a great choice by the Flyers management. From day one, he has shown both his skills and his leadership on this team. I thought he should have gotten it before Jason Smith, but it doesn't matter because the C is where it belongs now. Richards embodies everything about the flyers from the hard hitting way he plays the game, to his leadership in the locker room. He is a young guy and therefore can relate to both the vast amount of young talent currently on the flyers, while keeping great team chemistry with the veterans. This was the best choice for the Flyers and I hope you all agree. He performed great in the playoffs and really showed his fight throughout. The highlight being when he called out Sidney Crosby but Crosby was scared. Mike Richards can play both sides of the puck and is going to be a great captain.
