Trey Galloway, Anthony Leal To Be Honored At Indiana Basketball Senior Day
Adam Cairns/Columbus Dispatch / USA TODAY NETWORK

Trey Galloway, Anthony Leal, Xavier Johnson and Anthony Walker represent Indiana's four seniors that will be honored after Sunday's game against Michigan State. Johnson and Walker are out of eligibility after the season, but Galloway and Leal have a fifth season of eligibility available for the 2024-25 season, due to COVID, if they choose to use it.

There was some uncertainty from coach Mike Woodson earlier in the week as to whether Galloway and Leal would participate, but Indiana confirmed Sunday that they will be honored.

Galloway and Leal have choices to make following the season. They could return to Indiana next season, enter the transfer portal or choose to end their college basketball careers. A similar situation occurred a few seasons ago, when Race Thompson participated in Senior Day at the end of the 2021-22 season, then returned to Indiana in 2022-23.

Galloway and Leal, two Indiana natives, joined the Hoosiers before 2020-21 season under former head coach Archie Miller. Out of Culver Academy, Galloway has started 55 of Indiana's 65 games over the last two seasons. As a senior, he's averaging a career-high 10.8 points and 4.8 assists per game.

Leal, the 2020 Indiana Mr. Basketball at Bloomington South High School, is playing the most minutes of his career as a senior at 13.8 per game. Across four seasons, he's played in 66 games, scored 110 total points and shot 34.8% from the 3-point line.

Tipoff between the Hoosiers and Spartans is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET.
