C.J. Washington scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as UAB defeated Texas-San Antonio 78-65 on Thursday night. Fahro Alihodzic added 17 points for UAB (12-4, 1-1 Conference USA), going 7 of 13 from the field. Washington hit 7 of 11 field goals.
