UConn men's team has to find new hotel due to horrid conditions
Las Vegas Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The UConn men’s basketball team was forced to switch hotels in Las Vegas ahead of Thursday's Sweet 16 showdown with Arkansas due to the conditions in their rooms.

UConn arrived at the Luxor on Tuesday night only to find that their rooms were in “awful” condition, according to CT Insider's David Borges. Borges described the rooms as having dirt, vomit and “worse” inside them.

The NCAA, which books the hotels for teams, moved UConn from the Luxor (reportedly to Resorts World). While the Huskies have had an uncomfortable adventure in Sin City, the Razorbacks by some accounts are living the life of luxury at the Vdara, a more upscale hotel than the Luxor.

It’s unclear if the Razorbacks made the reported arrangements themselves.
