Kentucky’s Julius Randle already has an insane amount of hype surrounding him. Despite having never played a college game yet, the UK freshman has already been compared to LeBron James and yesterday was named the SEC’s Preseason Player of the Year. I think it’s safe to say big things are expected from him. However, despite the hype, some people don’t agree with a freshman being selected as a preseason pick for player of the year. One of those people is Tennessee guard Jordan McRae, a First Team All-SEC player in 2012-13.
