WITH SATURDAY NIGHT'S 70-64 WIN AT SJSU, the Vandals (18-12, 9-5 WAC) secured the No.3 seed for the Western Athletic Conference Tournament. True freshman guard CONNOR HILL of Post Falls (Ida.) hit 4-of-5 from three-point range for 12 points to help the Vandals to their second consecutive top three WAC finish under coach Don Verlin, and Idaho's first back-to-back 18-win seasons since 1993-94.

Idaho 70, San Jose St. 64

Deremy Geiger scored 16 points and Connor Hill added 12 on four 3-pointers to lead Idaho to a 70-64 victory against San Jose State on Saturday night. Landon Tatum added 10 points, and Djim Bandoumel and Kyle Barone had nine rebounds each for the Vandals (18-12, 9-5 Western Athletic), who have won seven of their last eight games and are the No. 3 seed in next week's conference...
