While today may mark the start to Louisville’s 2013-2014 season, the theme at the KFC Yum! Center today is 2012-2013. The Cardinals are wearing their NCAA tournament Adidas uniforms from last year’s title-winning campaign. They also unveiled the NCAA Champion banner during a pregame ceremony. The new banner is positioned next to the American flag, right beside the school’s other two national championship banners. Here’s video of the official raising of the new memento. This season will be a transitional one for the Cards – they’ll be playing in the newly-formed AAC for one year before moving on to the ACC. We’ll see if they can get off on the right foot against Charleston.
