Getting hot at the right time in sports is sometimes all that matters. If it’s in a game, or in a season, if teams get hot at the right time they can roll to victories and championships. The team that epitomized this thought this year is the Louisville Cardinals. Louisville has won their last 8 games, including the Big East title game and last night’s game against the Florida Gators, which put them into the Final Four. Florida dominated the first half but Louisville was able to get hot in the second half and come back from a 10 point deficit to beat the Gators 72-68. Louisville got a nice boost from their bench last night as back-up guard Russ Smith led all scorers with 19 points. Ohio State received solid performances from every Buckeye who stepped onto the floor in their 77-70 win over Syracuse. Because of foul trouble, Jared Sullinger was only able to play 26 minutes last night, but he was still able to lead all scorers with 19 points. When Sullinger was out of the game, his tea...

Pitino, Donovan formed bond at Providence

When Rick Pitino coached Billy Donovan at Providence, the two had an unspoken bond. Louisville’s Coach Kinda Looks Like A Vampire

Louisville’s coach Rick Pitino definitely looks like he just lost a lot of blood and is looking for more. Both the Louisville and Florida cheerleaders looked hot as usual as the Gators and the Cardinals battled in the Elite Eight. Karl Hess officiated the...

Sullinger reaches one goal

BOSTON - Part of the reason Jared Sullinger doesn't enjoy rehashing the decision he made a year ago to bypass the NBA Draft and certain lottery-pick status for another year at Ohio State is because Sullinger insists it wasn't much of a decision at all. He never planned to do anything but come back and win not only a bunch of games, but a bunch of a really big ones. Saturday...

Many people have already tried to diminish their accomplishment because Fab Melo was ruled academically ineligible for the tournament. To those people I would say, “Stop...
