The Tigers lead Tennessee 72-65 with less than a minute left. Allen Flanigan and Wendell Green both scored clutch and-one baskets late to give Auburn their lead.

Tennessee basketball leads the all-time series vs Auburn 79-41, with the Tigers having won six out of the last ten matchups. Auburn holds a 29-24 record vs the Vols at home, but a 8-47 record in Thompson-Boiling Arena.
