Watch: An early dunk of the year candidate praised by Magic Johnson, others

Arkansas Razorbacks forward Trevon Brazile delivered an early candidate for dunk of the year on Wednesday that will be hard to be topped.

With the Razorbacks up 69-49, Brazile beat his man off the dribble and cut to the basket. As he made a leap, he cocked his arm back before slamming home a vicious dunk.

The play set the crowd in a frenzy.

Twitter took notice as well.

Arkansas (3-0) is ninth in the Associated Press poll and began the season without projected NBA first-round pick Nick Smith Jr. (knee).

On Wednesday, the team was led by Ricky Council IV with 19 points. Brazile recorded a double-double off the bench with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

The highlights are bound to continue for these Razorbacks. The team made the past two Elite Eights and announced a huge reinforcement coming next year this week. Five-star recruit Baye Falle committed to Arkansas on Tuesday. Last week, five-star prospect Layden Blocker announced his intention to play for the Razorbacks next year.

With plays like the one made by Brazile, the seat will be warm when both arrive.
