NEW YORK — Duquesne defeated rival St. Bonaventure, 70-60, in the A-10 Semifinals Saturday afternoon at the Barclays Center, putting themselves in the Title game.

Dukes senior guards Dae Dae Grant and Jimmy Clark III had excellent games in the win. Grant shot 10-for-15 from the field and 6-for-9 from 3-point range for a team-high 27 points. Clark shot 8-for-15 from the field overall and 7-for-10 from the floor for 18 points, while also making six assists and three steals in the win.

The duo spoke on the game, what it meant for the team as a whole and how they’ll prepare for VCU tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. in the Championship game.

Head coach Keith Dambrot also spoke on his team’s victory and what Grant and Clark did throughout the game to play as well as they did.

St. Bonaventure head coach Mark Schmidt and redshirt senior guard Daryl Banks III also spoke to the press and why they lost the game in the way they did.
