Christopher Washington Jr., a top-40 prospect in the 2026 class, received an offer from West Virginia on Wednesday night. Washington is a four-star forward from Gainesville, Fl.

“I’m very blessed to receive from West Virginia. Thank you [assistant coach] Alex Ruoff for the offer. [I] really appreciate it,” Washington wrote on X (Twitter).

Washington (6-foot-7) plays at Villegas Charter School. Washington has received offers from Bethune-Cookman, Florida State, Jacksonville, Ole Miss and West Virginia. Washington has also received interest from Baylor and Oklahoma State.

For 2026 recruits, West Virginia has most recently offered F Maximo Adams and hosted Andrew Jensen for an unofficial visit in August.
