As I’ve mentioned numerous times over the past few weeks, this year’s Louisville team has a lot of talent. When you consider how the season ended last year, it’s hard to argue that Chane Behanan wouldn’t be expected to be Louisville’s top returning player. Unfortunately, the majority of the discussion regarding Chane Behanan has been about his mysterious suspension.
With the MVP of the Western Region in last year’s NCAA Tournament suspended for both of Louisville’s exhibition games and a “50-50” shot at playing in the season opener, I expected Card Nation to be in panic mode. Although there are some fans concerned about Behanan’s situation, the play of freshman Montrezl Harrell has put a majority of the fan base at ease.

Jody Demling of CardinalAuthority.com broke the news earlier this afternoon that the University of Louisville has lost their appeal with the NCAA in regards to the eligibility of freshman center Mangok Mathiang.
Mathiang was ruled ineligible by the NCAA clearing house in mid October. Louisville appealed the decision, but unfortunately the clearing house stood firm with their decision...
