Keeping Justin Jackson out of foul trouble has been an issue for the University of Cincinnati Bearcats ever since he arrived on campus in 2010.
The high-energy Jackson is so quick and athletic that he tries to block every shot and seize every rebound. At times that exuberance gets him in foul trouble and sends him prematurely to the bench, causing all sorts of problems for the Bearcats...

It goes without saying that Saturday’s game against Cincinnati is the biggest of the season for the Cards. Louisville is desperate for quality wins and knocking off a top ten team on the road would be a huge boost for their post season resume.
Although they already have one win this season over the Cards, the Bearcats aren’t satisfied just yet...
Cincinnati forward Justin Jackson and the Bearcats have been all business this year. Cinci, now ranked at No. 7 in the AP Poll, currently leads the AAC with a 13-1 conference record. The Bearcats have also won 17 of their past 18 games. During one of those victories, a 65-57 home win over SMU, a photo of Jackson giving a scowl to the crowd started making the rounds. The school is...
CINCINNATI -- Justin Jackson's smile was wide and beaming.
"I'm a machine. I'm good. I'm fine," said the University of Cincinnati senior forward before practice on Tuesday.
How much was confidence that his injured ankle will be good enough to play Thursday at Louisville and how much was simply for show remains to be seen. Jackson was dressed for practice...

This wasn’t just any blocked shot. Central Florida’s Staphon Blair had gone up to attempt a dunk over Jackson. Bad idea.
“I felt disrespected,” Jackson said.
Staphon Blair went up for a dunk, ready to slam the ball down with both hands. Justin Jackson wasn't going to let that happen.
''I was like, `Really?''' Jackson said. ''They're going to do that? I blocked it.''
The forward slid in from the side and swatted the ball out of Blair's firm grip. He headed down the court and thrust out...

CINCINNATI -- It doesn't take long to figure out the energy level of the University of Cincinnati basketball team. Just watch No. 5 for the Bearcats, Justin Jackson. It usually doesn't take him long to grab a rebound, block a shot or hit the floor diving for a loose ball.
Or give the crowd a shot of his mean face.
The best thing for UC is that Jackson is contagious.
Justin Jackson had his third straight double-double, and Cincinnati used its free-throw shooting and defense to overcome a poor shooting game by top scorer Sean Kilpatrick on Saturday, pulling away to a 74-59 victory over Nebraska.
The Bearcats (11-2) have won four in a row since back-to-back losses to New Mexico and Xavier.
Jackson had 15 points and 10 rebounds for his fifth double...
