Amazing that Novak can play college hoops for Michigan without his lower limbs, even more amazing that he registered 13 points and three assists in the Wolverines 68-56 win over Indiana. Michigan's Akunne out with foot injury
Michigan guard Eso Akunne is expected to miss 6 to 8 weeks following surgery on his left foot.
The team announced Akunne's status Thursday, a day before the scheduled operation. Akunne will have a screw inserted into his left foot to help stabilize an injury to his fifth metatarsal.
