Holloway Transferring from Mississippi

Mississippi’s Murphy Holloway is transferring for personal reasons. Some reports, including one from TheState.com, are saying that Holloway will transfer to Clemson. Mississippi basketball coach Andy Kennedy says sophomore forward Murphy Holloway is leaving the team for personal reasons. Holloway, a 6-7 forward from Irmo, S.C., said Friday that he was returning to South Carolina where he has a daughter and family. Holloway averaged 10.1 points and 7.6 rebounds per game last season, starting 30 of 34 games for the Rebels.
