Now with only eight games left on the conference schedule, the Gophers face the prospect of nearly...

Behind 15 points from senior guard William Buford and 14 each from forwards Jared Sullinger and DeShaun Thomas, the Buckeyes cruised to a 79-45 win over the Cornhuskers. While the Buckeyes did not play their best basketball in this game, they did quite enough to beat Nebraska worse than...

Big Ten First Look: Nebraska
Jorge Brian Diaz is Very TallNebraska’s 2010/2011 went much the same as it has during most of Coach Doc Sadler’s tenure – the Huskers were a mediocre team in the Big 12, finishing slightly below .500, and tenuously on the NCAA bubble, inevitably sentenced to an early NIT exit. Nebraska was by no means a bad team, but they weren’t terribly good – they could only beat the...

Huskers Go for Signature Win
While the Huskers Basketball team has had a decent season so far, posting a 7-2 record, they have yet to get a win against a team they shouldn't, and you can argue they have a loss against a team they should have beaten.
A win Saturday over the 16th ranked Oregon Ducks would help the Huskers take a big step in their pitch for a bid in the NCAA tournament come this March. ..

Husker Basketball bounces back for big win
After losing a game they should have won against Western Kentucky, it was nice to see Nebraska take care of business Sunday. Defense has not been a problem for the Cornhuskers this season, but consistency on offense, and on the boards has been lacking, and against a Rutgers team with good size on their roster, it was imperative NU hang with the Scarlet Knights in rebounds...

If there was any doubt that Nebraska was a football school, those doubts were laid to rest this week, where the search for a new head coach has grabbed headlines all across the country, and the basketball team can't even get a headline in it's home state.
I've been as guilty as anyone, ignoring the Huskers' last two games, and instead focusing solely on the search...
