Brazilian Bully: How Syracuse’s Fab Melo Went from Liability to High Ability Overnight
It’s hard to quantify just how far Fab Melo has come in his sophomore season at Syracuse. He’s gone from a liability on both ends of the floor to somebody the Orange heavily rely upon, especially on the defensive end. It was obvious during his midseason absence from the team how vital Fab is. SU suffered its only loss of the season at Notre Dame, and struggles mightily with Cincinnati...

Orange have Fab back; Is that enough?
Center Fab Melo is back in the lineup for second-ranked Syracuse after missing three games to resolve an academic issue, and the Orange would seem to be in a good place as they head to New York to play St. John's.
Coach Jim Boeheim isn't so sure. Although the Orange (22-1, 9-1 Big East) rank in the top five in 13 Big East team categories, their work on the glass has been...

GOALTENDING?
Video: Syracuse wins on controversial no-call
Weird things have been happening in the Carrier Dome this year. In football, Toledo was screwed over by a blown extra point call. On Saturday, West Virginia had their chance to tie the game erased by a goaltend that wasn’t called.
That is clearly a goaltend. The ball was bouncing off the glass and the defender pinned the ball on the backboard. Bob Huggins has to...

Syracuse rights itself by shredding Bearcats D
CINCINNATI -- Jim Boeheim didn't know what to expect Monday night.
Because he never expected his team to play so poorly in Syracuse's only loss of the season two days earlier.
Monday, the Orange played in front of the Bearcats first sellout of the season, then saw Cincinnati make four-of-five threes as the game started.
He didn't panic, but he did wonder.
Which was...

CSU Hottie of the Week: Laurie Fine (Photos)
Recent news of the Syracuse sex scandal has become even more creepy and wrong than it already was.
The latest spin on the scandal allegedly places Bernie Fine's wife, Laurie Fine, sleeping with Syracuse basketball players since 1982. Some have reported that it was almost a ritual or a right of passage. Even as far as every player had to have a piece of it. We figured...
