The South Carolina Gamecocks (2-5) suffered a 76-67 defeat to Providence (6-2) at Colonial Life Arena on Thursday night. The South Carolina Gamecocks (1-2) suffered a 64-63 defeat vs. Tennessee State (1-1) on Sunday night at Colonial Life Arena. Sophomore guard Eric Smith led the Gamecocks with 18 points and went 5-7 from beyond the arc.
