While the Lady Cardinals of Louisville had an incredible run, last night they proved to be no match.  They were simply out played and routed by a dominant UConn, losing 93-60.  Congrats to UConn and of course, Auriemma on his eighth national championship! -@sdotrenee

Louisville Women's Coach Jeff Walz To Retire After NCAA Final To Be a Waiter For Geno Auriemma

Last night after the UConn Huskies women's basketball team beat the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, UConn head coach Geno Auriemma made the following quote about Louisville Cardinals head coach Jeff Walz's shirt. For Auriemma and Walz, mutual respect is no joke

When Connecticut coach Geno Auriemma compared Jeff Walz's shirt in the women's NCAA semifinals to an ''Italian tablecloth,'' and then joked about hiring Louisville's coach at his restaurant, Walz ran with it. UConn women win 8th title in rout of Louisville
