As ESPN announcer Ryan Ruocco eloquently said on the air, "Galactic greatness was on display yet again" from Caitlin Clark during the Elite Eight contest Monday night. The Iowa star had 41 points, seven rebounds and 12 assists as her team beat LSU 94-87 in a rematch of last year's NCAA title game.
Clark's heroics earned the praise of many of her peers in the sporting world.
Knicks swingman Josh Hart called Clark "the truth" on X.
As Stephen Curry and others have proven in the NBA, timely three-pointers can demoralize opponents. It's why Angel Reese and Hailey Van Lith could do nothing but shrug in disbelief when Clark drained several of her nine threes from logo range.
Emmanuel Acho pointed to Clark shooting LSU into submission.

Elsewhere, Robert Griffin III had some words for those who doubted Iowa's chances a year after they were pummeled in the championship game.
Caitlin Clark and Iowa heard everyone who said they wouldn’t make it to the Final Four. They got their revenge over LSU with a SENSATIONAL PERFORMANCE from Caitlin Clark.

Other NFL players such as Marlon Humphrey were also floored by Clark.
All in all, Monday night was a tremendous endorsement for women's basketball, and the upcoming match-up between Clark and Paige Bueckers will advance the sport further.
Chiefs star Chris Jones summed up what everyone else is thinking.
