Another game, another record broken.

In a fast-paced first quarter, Clark broke the record for most threes made in D-I women's NCAA Tournament history when she made her 62nd all-time.

She set the record on her first three, 17 seconds into the game.

All-time great UConn guard Diana Taurasi held the previous record for women's NCAA Tournament made threes when she played for the Huskies from 2000-01 to 2003-04 seasons.

Clark led all scorers with 11 points after one quarter, followed close behind by LSU forward Angel Reese, who had 10.

Clark was 2-of-5 on her threes in the opening quarter, and Iowa made five overall.

However, LSU shot 60.9% from the field and outrebounded the Hawkeyes 12-5, taking a 31-26 advantage through one.

Per ESPN Analytics, LSU has a 63.8% of advancing to the Final Four entering the second quarter.

If Iowa wants to advance to its second consecutive Final Four, Clark probably will need to expand on her three-point record. In last year's national title game matchup, Clark was 8-of-19 on her attempts from beyond the arc.
