The Official LA Galaxy Myspace:
Two years ago, a bunch of guys from the University of Miami formed a rap group. They were called 7th Floor Crew, and nobody really cared when they released a nine minute long song about gang banging. But when it was revealed that the group included members of the University of Miami football team, all hell broke loose.
The University had to come out condemning the song, and there was a whole media circus. ESPN broke the story a week before Miami hosted Georgia Tech. Miami lost that game amidst the scandal, which made it seem much worse.
Now it's two years later, and the term "Taken to the 7th Floor" has become a catchphrase. When Miami wins by a large margin, fans say the opposing team got "Taken to the 7th Floor". Conversely, it has been used against Miami when they have lost by a large margin.
The song can be heard at the 7th Floor Crew's myspace page (see link above.)

Seems like Bernie Kosar's name is in every article regarding the Miami coaching search. He has an opinion, or suggestion, or a job that he could do, the only job he won't do is the one Miami probably wants him to do: fade into the background.
