Ravens Insider:
Davin Meggett fumbled (again) on Maryland's first series. That's the bad news for the Terps.
The good news is that Maryland is running the ball better early in the game. The Terps' running game has been dormant most of the season.
Maryland has 52 rushing yards.
Will the rain be a factor? Probably. But the weather didn't cause Meggett's fumble -- a hard tackle did.
By the way, linebacker Demetrius Hartsfield is playing with his broken hand encased in a black, club-like wrap. Redshirt sophomore Ben Pooler started, but Hartsfield entered in the first quarter.
Terps made a good defensive stand with the Cavs on Maryland's 1. A false start penalty and a sack pushed the ball back, but Virginia made it 3-0 on a 32-yard field goal.
UVA 3, Terps 0, first quarter
