  i think u are confused jason. 1. they article was whether ryan should join any of the predominantly african american college or not. 2. those schools are just for blacks they are mostly black b/c of the areas they are located in, and those schools were the ones to give blacks chance. 3. do your homework b4 u make comments like this buddy.

  1. Black Colleges are a direct result of institutionalized racism. Unlike many big schools, they have always admitted students of all races.
  
  2. If you read the entire article, you will see that my point is that these institutions shouldn't be Perrilloux's last chance. They should admit him as a student and allow him the opportunity to redeem himself that way, but they should not reward him by paying for an education he doesn't want simply because he can play football.

  i understood your point i just didn't want this guy to think the HBCu's only allowed blacks. i also agree that it seems as if he's just looking at football as his only option and not looking at the educational and life skills that are being given.

  Having a black only college in america is true racism. Whites should be able to attend any school also. If a black man can be elected president then things can't be that bad for blacks wheter they are from African Jamaican or some other descent. We are all equal and that has to apply for colleges too.

    I just feel that in today's world we should all be able to go to the school of your choice. These schools came about because of racial injustice and were made for a good reason.I thought one of the reasons to bring blacks and whites together in the same school was to improve relations.

      We the people can choose any school of our choice.I know many whites that attended black colleges and vise versa.

  My point is where is his parents,They should be on his A_ _ . Your going to a black college JUST to play ball... Thats Crazy LSU is one of the best stages to play football if not the Best stage to get your game known to the world....No offense to my black colleges but if my son wants to play ball for a college and he's very good and we want the best road to the NFL,,, well its a nobrainer SEC schools is my first opinion next is the other schools ETC---OSU,PSU,VTU 4 example. I know i struk some nerves with dis one but you need to know the facts....
