MVN:
Just a quick note, Bo Pelini is wasting no time getting his staff put together.
Holdovers from Bill Callahan's staff are few and far between, with the entire defensive group apparently given their walking papers. Not a huge surprise considering the defense's performance this season. No replacements have been named, but Marvin Sanders and Bo's brother Carl seem to be locks for positions on the staff. There are also rumors that Brad Peveto, LSU's linebackers and special teams coach could come over to NU in some capacity, possibly as defensive coordinator.
On offense.........

PERSONALLY, AS I'M SURE A GREAT MANY OF YOU ARE TIRED OF THE WEST COAST OFFENSE, I WOULD LIKE TO SEE AN OFFENSE MUCH LIKE WHAT LSU OR VIRGINIA TECH USES WHERE THERE IS A BALANCED ATTACK WITH A POWER RUNNING GAME AND THE OPTION...
Happy day in Husker nation
It would have been hard for Sunday to have been a much better day in Nebraska.
Sure the football team got its man with Bo Pelini, a guy I get more excited about as head coach the more I think about it.
But then there was the basketball team, which managed to overcome an incredibly slow start to their game against the talented Arizona State Sun Devils.
