Durig the Frozen Four the Boston college Eagles led by Nathan Gerbe shredded the Fighting Sioux's defense and made them look like a bunch of pylons. Two days later Gerbe was just as impressive as he helped his team win a national title against Notre Dame. For fans of these two teams this is great news.

Upon reaching the locker room, doctors attempted to stop the bleeding by applying pressure to Zednik's neck. So much pressure that Zednik complained they were hurting his neck. Dr. Leslie Bisson, team doctor of the Buffalo Sabres was seated in the fifth row and quickly left his seat to help after realizing what had occurred.
